Janasena chief Pawan Kalyan is contesting from Pithapuram constituency in this year’s election and this comes after he contested from Gajuwaka and Bhimavaram in the last election.
When asked about why Pawan Kalyan shifted from Bhimavaram and Gajuwaka to Pithapuram, Nagababu had an interesting reaction.
“Much before the elections, He had a calling from Sripada Sri Vallabha Swamy. And decided to change his constituency. In 2019 he contested from Bhimavaram and Gajuwaka, but this time he wanted to stick to one, hence choosing Pithapuram. Also, it is a small constituency, geographical.” Nagababu stated.
There was a fair bit of thought process that went into Pawan Kalyan locking the Pithapuram constituency and the same could be understood if we look at Nagababu’s assessment of things. Notably, Pawan Kalyan has decided not to contest two seats this time and instead stick to one.
