The audio tapes of Nandu and Ramachandra Bharati talking to pilot Rohit Reddy are currently doing the rounds on social media, and have become quite viral in the Telangana political scenario. In these audio tapes, a new name has come out, one name that has got everyone confused and asking many questions. Ramachandra Bharati can be heard saying that he will take care of the ED and CBI, and talk to the number 1 and 2 people of BJP, to get Rohit in, if he agrees.
He also can be heard saying that two other MLAs would be joining him when he goes to talk to number 2, and that BL Santosh, the organizing secretary, will take care of everything else. This name is causing a lot of curiosity. There is one BL Santosh in BJP, whose full name is Bommarabettu Lakshmijanardhana Santosh. He has been the National General Secretary of the Bharatiya Janata Party since 15 July 2019. Santosh served as the general secretary of the BJP in the Karnataka state unit for eight years. He was appointed in 2014 by Amit Shah as the in-charge of the Southern States and National Joint General Secretary. Santhosh’s hometown is Udupi, in Karnataka. He studied Instrumentation Technology at BDT College of Engineering, Davangere, Karnataka, and also worked as an RSS Pracharak in 1993.
While there is speculation that BL Santosh could refer to Bommarabettu Lakshmijanardhana Santhosh, there is no clarity on that. On the other hand, KCR is expected to give full clarity on the situation, and on who numbers 1 and 2 could be, in his public meeting on Friday. As far as buying Rohit Reddy is concerned, after Reddy filed a complaint with the police, stating that he was offered Rs. 100 Crores, while the other three MLAs, Guvvala Balaraju, Harshavardhan Reddy and Rega Kantarao were offered Rs. 50 Crores each, to join the BJP. Based on this complaint, Ramachandra Bharati, Simhayaji and Nandakumar were taken into custody and interrogated by the police at length.
