Rakul Preet has finally opened up regarding her weight loss for one of her upcoming movies. Rakul had recently stated that Luv Ranjan, the producer of De De Pyaar De, wanted her to have a similarity with Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone in the movie Cocktail.
Rakul Preet who underwent heavy weight loss last year received mixed responses on her looks. Most of the netizens opinionated that Rakul Preet lost all the charm due to weight reduction and looked ‘anorexic’.
Rakul Preet nearly shed 10 kgs for which she was called ‘anorexic’. When quizzed regarding the same, the actress mentioned that she has undergone a fitness regime which helped her lose weight for her upcoming Hindi movie De De Pyaar De.
De De Pyaar De stars Ajay Devgan and Tabu alongside Rakul Preet. The producer of this Bollywood movie had suggested Rakul Preet look like Deepika Padukone in the movie Cocktail. That is why the beauty hit the gym and worked it out.
Rakul Preet even stated that as she owns a gym, it was not difficult for her to shed the weight. “I used to gym for four hours a day. I had more than a couple of weeks left for the movie shoot to begin. I worked hard and achieved the desired weight”, the actress told a media house recently.
