The pioneer of social messaging in the world, Whatsapp, is transforming into a whole new application in this crucial COVID-19 period. Already the number of contacts to be allowed for the forwarding of a message is limited to 1 contact from 5 contacts and it is just phenomenal. They took this decision in the wake of the unconditional spreading of fake news about the COVID-19 pandemic.
Now, to facilitate the ‘work from home’ employees they are bringing in the new feature in their own style. Till now every employee who had to set a conference has used Zoom App, a video calling medium which was termed ‘Unsafe’ by the central government most recently.
Till now, in WhatsApp, only 4 people will be allowed to participate in a video call and now they are all set to implement a much-needed feature under current circumstances that would allow more than four people to join a video call. The feature was spotted by WAbetainfon in WhatsApp Messenger beta for iOS 2.20.50.23.
This feature is still under development and the new group call limit is yet to be revealed. But, we can expect the update soon and the WhatsApp would want its users to update to the latest version of the app to enjoy this feature. It will not be available in the older versions of the messaging app.
