The U-turn thing turned out as a quite common one for the TDP leaders. It seems like they are in the path that was laid by their supremo Chandra Babu Naidu. The TDP legislator of the Vishakapatnam (North), Ganta Srinivas Rao is the one who took U-Turn now.
Initially, Ganta was the one who openly supported the decision of the Jagan Mohan Reddy for shifting the administrative capital to the Vizag. He even held a meeting of TDP leaders from Visakhapatnam to express solidarity with the Jagan government’s decision and openly defied his party’s stand.
But, now, he took U-Turn and recently told the reporters that Jagan’s three capital decision is an absurd one. He said that as a Vizag legislator he will welcome the decision if the capital of AP comes to Vizag but he clarified that he will stand with the party’s decision. He even said that Jagan’s dissolution of the AP council is a hasty decision and suggested that he would have waited for a year so that he can attain majority in the Council.
The above statements appear very weird as his inner feeling welcomes the three capital decision but it seems he is stuck between his heart and Chandrababu. Reportedly, Ganta paid a visit to Chandrababu at where Naidu warned Ganta for his take on the AP capital.
