Vennela Kishore is promoting his upcoming theatrical release, Chaari 111 which is hitting the marquee on the 1st of March. On the occasion, he had a chitchat with the director of the film TG Keerthi Kumar and the leading lady of the film, Samyuktha Viswanathan.
Vennela Kishore said it was fresh, intriguing, and rewarding all at the same time for him to work on Chaari 111 as he enjoyed playing the main lead. “I am used to playing the main lead’s friend character and I am happy in that space. But when I was approached by Keerthi sir with this script, I got excited about the script.”
The director Keerthi Kumar said this project wouldn’t have happened if it wasn’t for Vennela Kishore who he says is a perfect fit for the role. He said the film shares traits with Johnny English and Pink Panther. He went on to term Vennela Kishore as Indian Mr. Bean.
The spy action comedy film has the scope to be made into a cinematic universe and even if other heroes are brought into the universe, Vennela Kishore aka Chaari will be the focal point.
About Murali Sharma’s important character in the film, the director and hero said it was a boon to have such a veteran play such an important character in the film. The rest of the lead cast also delivered their very best for the film.
About the female lead Samyuktha Viswanathan, she practised martial arts and a bit of gymnastics for the film. Her ballet dancing background helped with the body flexibility that was used in the action part in the film. The production values orchestrated by the producer Aditi Soni were also highlighted.
Spy action comedy, Chaari 111 is directed by TG Keerthi Kumar and produced by Aditi Soni under Barkat Studios banner. The film is headed for release on the 1st of March.
