It is known that the TTD has halted the services of non-Hindu employees and this was a new enforcement brought in by the new board under BR Naidu’s chairmanship.
When asked about this, Pawan Kalyan who interacted with India Today had a very strong and affirmative reaction.
The question went like – Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has decided not to have non-Hindus. Do you support this?
In response to this, Pawan Kalyan said “Would you go to Mecca and say that Hindus should be in their administration? Hindu Temples should be controlled only by Hindus. There is no second thought.
He seemed fairly straightforward about his reaction on this sensitive topic and he certainly had a point to make as the TTD really needs to revamp services and only Hindus must be employed. As Pawan rightly pointed out, we wouldn’t see any other-religion workers at other pilgrimages.
