The YSR Congress Party, in its 17 month rule so far has been visibly very distractive, controversial as well as unimaginable in nature of its administration. Starting from three capital issue to their attitude in conducting the local body polls, they have been intentionally showing their dominance and authority in the state in a very needless manner.
We all know the story. When the corona lockdown was imposed in the country, the ministers who had insulted Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar by calling him a casteist and abused him at times when he postponed the local body polls are now repeating the same language when Ramesh Kumar is going to hold elections.
Kodali Nani, who accused Nimmagadda of postponing the elections in March in the name of caste, is now saying that the SEC cannot hold local elections. He is saying that there is pandemic in effect when there is a huge decline in the number of cases being reported in the state daily. No one understands what kind of ideology the AP State government wants to instill in people’s minds.
In turn, they are saying that Nimmagadda has been in office for only a few months and warns that Nimmagadda can do nothing without consulting the government. Another minister, Nani, told the court that local elections could not be held because of Covid. He also added that they are not at all afraid of either CBN or Atchennaidu.
Now, people are saying that it all comes to one corner. It might be the strategy of YSRCP to wait till Nimmagadda gets over his term as SEC and they can show their dominance in the local body polls, Of course, who forgets the violence that occurred during the nomination period.
On the other side, a meeting with the political parties is being held on the 28th this month. The YCP is also expected to attend the meeting. But it seems they might skip this meeting and hence have hinted their attitude in advance. The opposition followers are satirizing that the YSRCP may not be afraid of CBN or Atchanna, but they have this Nimmagadda fear all the time as he fought his way back to court and got his post in a sensational manner.
