TDP leaders are no more in a mood to wait for six months to criticize on the Andhra Pradesh government, as promised earlier, as according to them, Chief Minister Jagan is showcasing an utter poor performance.
Especially, Nara Lokesh is using every single opportunity to go against the YSRCP government. After criticizing Jagan for his failure in providing the seeds to the farmers on time, he now raised special status issue.
Lokesh said that Jagan promised to bring the special category status to AP, but he is not even concerned about it after attaining power and is remaining calm. The TDP leader also questioned that YSRCP as opposition party asked Chandrababu Naidu to step down from CM chair, if he is unable to bring special status, then why is Jagan not doing the same now.
TDP completely failed in achieving special status and in fact, the state government has not even given a tough fight for it. Several times in the past, Naidu frequently changed his opinions on the status.

While sometimes he said status is necessary, some other times, he also confined to special package and declared that it is enough to meet the needs. As most of his paid Telugu media backed him, he was able to get out of the issue easily.
However, just before the elections, he intensified the fight against the Centre for the special status, which appeared like an election stunt but nothing else. Now Naidu’s son Lokesh questioning Jagan about the special status, is nothing but a mere joke.
