For the last three days, there has been a drastic increase in the number of COVID-19 cases. The outburst of Tablji Jamaat has done irreparable damage to the country and the country is on high alert. The devotees who attend this congregation are spread across many parts of the country and especially in the Telugu States, they have made an absolute carnage.
As a result of this, the number of cases in our country is almost doubled all of a sudden and the government is terrified of this sudden spike in COVID-19 numbers. On March 31, the total number of cases in our country is 1,251 and on April 3rd, it was increased to 2,547. This is a 50% surge all of a sudden and now this number increased to 3,000 which makes us very vulnerable to the virus.
Among the increased cases in the last 3 days, 80% of them are related to Tabliji Jamaat religious congregation. These numbers are slightly less today and in 10 days the lockdown will be lifted posing the real challenge in front of the government.
