YS Vivekananda Reddy’s daughter, Sunita, along with the Lawyers for the CBI, attended the Andhra Pradesh High Court today, where their arguments took place. The HC has already been hearing the bail petitions filed by Y Sunil Yadav (A2), Gajjala Umashankar Reddy (A3), and Devireddy Shivshankar Reddy (A5), accused in the murder case of YS Viveka.
These petitions have been the main reason for Sunita to appear in court this week, especially with Erra Gangireddy, A1, already out on bail. The bail petitions were filed after the lawyers of the accused told the court that there was no danger to the lives of the accused, as the statements from the witnesses have already been collected.
Sunita’s lawyer argued last week, that being the daughter of the deceased, she deserved to be implicated, after the arguments on the petition filed by Shivshankar Reddy started last Monday. Sunita’s lawyers even informed the court that Shivshankar Reddy’s petition was struck down by a judge and that this petition should also be sent to the same judge for a hearing.
