Rana Daggubati and Sai Pallavi’s upcoming film Virata Parvam is all set to hit the theatres on June 17. Meanwhile, the movie team is promoting the period action drama in Telugu states.
As part of the promotions, the cast and crew attended Virata Parvam Athmeeya Sabha in Warangal on Sunday. It is known that the film is based on the real incidents that happened in Telangana during the 1990s against the backdrop of the Naxal uprising.
Sai Pallavi’s character ‘Vennela’ in the movie is inspired by a real-life character named Sarala. The movie team visited Sarala’s residence in the Warangal and they got a warm welcome from the family. Sai Pallavi, Rana and director Venu Udugula spent some time with the family. Going by the pictures, the mother Sarala has turned very emotional while speaking to the team and she treated the Fidaa actress like her own daughter. Sai Pallavi also broke down in tears for the love shown by the family.
Virata Parvam is produced by D. Suresh Babu and Sudhakar Cherukuri.
