Young actor Kiran Abbavaram has come up with a new film, titled Vinaor Bhagyamu Vishnu Katha, which has been released today. The movie is produced under the GA2 banner. The film has been carrying decent expectations around it, and let’s see how it has turned out to be upon release.
Story:
Vishnu is a librarian by profession and a philanthropist by nature, who helps everyone around him and leads a happy and peaceful life. However, things start changing and put his life in a maze. He is then introduced to Darshan and Sharma through a number of neighboring concept. How does Vishnu’s life change, what are the hurdles he’s facing, and how does he surpass all of them forms the rest of the story.
On-screen performances:
Kiran Abbavaram did a decent job as Vishnu, even though he is yet to improve a lot in acting, expressions, and dialogue modulation. He tried to give his best as Vishnu, but he falls short sometimes, especially in emotional scenes and when he’s seen alongside experienced actors. However, Kiran still manages to keep the audiences engaged in the theatres with his natural charsima on the screen.
Leading lady Kashmira is just like a doll in this movie. She looks pretty but has very less scope to perform.
Murali Sharma is perfect for the role that he portrayed and has delivered all the shades that are necessary for his character, along with humor and emotions.
The rest of the supporting cast have a very limited screen time but have performed according to what they have given and helped move the story forward as is required.
Off-screen Talents:
For this kind of genre movie, writing is the key. That’s when the movie will resonate with the audience. However, the writing department failed in the movie, as the screenplay is shoddy and the narration is not gripping enough. One good thing about the writing is, though, that the director managed to incorporate commercial elements into his story perfectly, which makes the story engaging to a certain extent. The director excelled at writing and executing the climax of the film, which takes place in the last 30 minutes of the movie. This is the major highlight of the movie.
The background score by Chetan Bharadwaj is one of the biggest assets for the movie which, as it elevates some scenes to the next level,
The cinematography of the film is good, and so is the production design. The editing could have been a little better and crisper.
Plus points:
- Kiran Abbavaram’s Performance
- Murali Sharma’s Comedy
- Pre-Climax & Climax Portions
- Interval Twist
- Funny Instagram Reels Sequence
- Background Score
- Cinematography
- Production Values
Minus points :
- Un-engaging First half
- Too Many Subplots
- Confusing Screenplay
- Forced Fights & Songs
- NIA Track Lacks Authenticity
Verdict: Vinaro Bhagyamu Vishnu Katha is a decent attempt and has a unique plot in its favor. While it might go into familiar territory every now and then, it manages to keep you engaged. It can be watched once in theatres.
