What about on-screen performances?
Naresh Agastya plays the titular role and he is very good in the series. He holds his emotions well and does not go overboard in any of the scenes and has done well.
Megha Akash looks good and has only a few impactful scenes. It would have been nice if she had been added more to the narrative.
Raghu Kunche plays the main villain and he is striking. It is shocking to see him in such a menacing avatar and he does so well to hold your attention with his performance.
Mukhtar Khan and Tarak Ponnappa do their roles well in the series. They get solid characters and perform well. The actor who played the cop is very good in the series.
Shiju Menon was also neat but his track looks a bit weak. The rest of the cast was okay and did their bit in the series.
What about off-screen performances?
Shoeb Siddique has cranked the camera and his work is amazing. How he has lit up the series with unique lighting shows his talent and craft in a big way.
The production values are top notch and the production design nicely enhances the setup. The visuals are great and make for a gripping watch.
The background score by Ajay is very good in the series and he neatly elevates the thrills without being loud for once in the proceedings.
The dialogues are good and the twists and turns penned by Teja are good. The writing in the series is very good as the thrills shown are neat.
Pradeep Maddali has directed this series and he has done well with his narration. He did not beat around the bush and ensured all the episodes were on point.
The series starts on a very impressive note and shows how the people in the village are losing memory. From there till the end, the narration is good.
But one also feels that the last two episodes are a bit routine. Once the villain is revealed, there is nothing much spice left in the series.
Also, the pace is slow and takes its own sweet time to unleash the main conflict point. But web series are those that have subplots and slowly grow on you.
Story-wise, nothing new has been showcased here, but Pradeep Madaali’s narration makes all the difference with his narration.
