When TDP and YSRCP parties came up with their anticipation about the number of seats they would win in the recently concluded Assembly and Lok Sabha elections, several doubted the reason behind Pawan Kalyan’s silence about Janasena winning seats. But finally, yesterday, JD Lakshmi Narayana, spoke to the media and confidently said that Janasena is going to win 88 seats and form the government in this year itself.
While there were mixed opinions on his statements, YSRCP leader Vijaysai Reddy reacted to it, in a controversial manner. The senior MP questioned that when Janasena contested in 65 seats itself, how can it win 88 seats and form the government. Not stopping there, he also doubted whether JD performed the investigation of the cases in the similar manner when he was the CBI officer in the past. Linking it to Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, the YSRCP MP questioned whether it was also the briefing of him.
Jagan or any of the YSRCP leaders, never spoke about any of the Janasena leaders, except Pawan Kalyan during the campaigning for the elections in Andhra Pradesh. JD’s entry was expected to create the disturbances in the YSRCP circles, as he was one among the police officers in the past, who investigated Jagan’s cases. But nothing such has taken place throughout the campaigning.
But finally, Vijaysai Reddy, the outspoken leader of YSRCP, severely went against JD now. A few of the analysts opine that the Jagan’s party opened up now, due to the confidence it got, in forming the government, after the announcement of the results. If this is the case, even before the results, then the situations would be worse and the YSRCP circles are expected to go more severely against Janasena, after forming the government, for being the main reason of YSRCP losing the election in 2014, the analysts opine.
