Vijaysai Reddy, one of the close associates of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, has been appointed as YSRCP Parliamentary Party leader.
Vijaysai Reddy is a Rajya Sabha member and is an aggressive leader in YSRCP. Before or after the elections, he is the only leader from the party who never stopped criticizing TDP and never left any opportunity to go against Chandrababu Naidu. Considering his commitment to the party, Jagan made him the Parliamentary Party leader now.
In several cases that were against Jagan, while the YSRCP Chief was termed as A1, Vijaysai Reddy was identified as A2. The bonding of the duo is very close and so there were speculations that the MP may be inducted into state cabinet and at a point of time, he was also anticipated to be the deputy Chief Minister.
However, Vijaysai Reddy is happy with his new position. Meanwhile, Peddireddy Midhun Reddy was nominated as YSRCP leader in Lok Sabha and Margani Bharat Ram as the party whip. Bharat Ram was elected as an MP for the first time from Rajahmundry and Midhun Reddy was re-elected from Rajampet.
