Earlier today, there were reports that Vijay’s Master will be out directly on OTT platforms. It was said that Netflix is in advanced talks with the makers of Master and a deal will be stuck sooner than later.
These developments raked a heated response on social media as Vijay’s fans did not want the film to release on Netflix.
Incidentally, noted Tamil actress Radhika tweeted about the same and this tweet went viral. “#master on Netflix? Read in the papers😞😞I would love to see it in the cinema . How many would love it ??,” she tweeted.
In the wake of social media whirlwind, team Master took matters into their own hands and put an end to the rumors.
“To all Baseless rumours 🤫 #Master will be a Theatre Feast for #ThalapathyVijay Fans 🔥 Keep Calm & wait for Celebration. @actorvijay @Dir_Lokesh @MrRathna @Jagadishbliss @MasterMovieOff,” Master’s official Twitter handle posted.
This is not the first time that team Master has condemned the rumors regarding the direct to digital release proposal of the film. It doesn’t seem to be that this will be the last time either, given that numerous media portals are speculating about OTT release of Master every now and then.
