Thalapathy Vijay’s father, director SA Chandrasekhar has filed a reply petition in the Chennai Rights Court informing that Vijay Makkal Iyakkam party was dissolved. It is known that Vijay’s fans want the actor to enter politics.
Against this backdrop, Vijay’s father and renowned director SA Chandrasekhar set up an organization in 2020 called ‘Vijay Makkal Iyakkam’. The actor had recently filed a petition in the Chennai Rights Court seeking an injunction restraining his father from conducting events using his name. This was recently investigated. Chandrasekhar has filed a reply petition informing cancellation of ‘Vijay Makkal Iyakkam’.
The incident created a sensation when Vijay filed a case against his parents and 11 others for using his name without permission. Vijay has previously stated that he has no affiliation with his father’s party. However, the actor lodged a complaint with the police alleging that the party was operating under his name and using his name. The recent incident has caused a stir in Tamil cinema and politics.
