Vijay Deverakonda and Mrunal Thakur are pulling out all the stops to hype up their latest movie ‘Family Star’. During a pre-release press meet, Vijay revealed that his character in the film is inspired by his own father, whom he considers a ‘Family Star’ in real life.
He shared that the film’s hero is named Govardhan, after his dad, and expressed hope that his father would be proud of the film, “April 8th is my dad’s birthday, and April 5th is a very special day because ‘Family Star’ is releasing on that day” he continued.
Vijay, who said the film as celebration ideal for the summer holidays, urged everyone to see it. ‘Family Star’, directed by Parasuram and produced by Dil Raju and Shirish, is expected to be a memorable family film, with talents such as Marthand K Venkatesh as the editor, Gopi Sundar as the music composer, and KU Mohanan as the director of photography.
