During the early hours of today, the city of Vijayawada saw a huge accident when there was a short circuit in a hotel that has been converted into a Coronavirus treatment facility. A private hospital had rented Hotel Swarna Palace in Vijayawada to keep all the Coronavirus patients in it.
At least 10 people were killed in the huge fire caused by the short circuit, and various others have been injured.Seven patients had panicked and jumped off the terrace as the flames of the fire started to spread to the upper floor. Two individuals were asphyxiated as the flames started to surround the hotel heavily.
PM Narendra Modi expressed his grief and also spoke to CM Jagan, who announced an ex-gratia of Rs. 50 Lakhs to the family of the deceased. Everyone started to send in their condolences to the families of the deceased, and responded to the tragic event, but one person failed to do so until later.
Vijayasai Reddy, MP and member of YSRCP was more interested in targeting Chandrababu Naidu on Twitter, based on Naidu’s comments on why he’s supporting the Amaravati cause.Chandrababu Naidu said that he’s not supporting Amaravati as the capital because of the caste, and that he’s doing it for the farmers. Vijayasai Reddy had to make a snide comment on this statement, and so he did, instead of reacting to Vijayawada’s tragedy. This is not the first incident where Vijayasai gave more importance to dirty political games over the welfare of the people. There have been many such instances in the past.
Vijayasai did Tweet about the fire in Vijayawada, 1 whole hour after his tweet on Chandrababu Naidu’s statement. Vijayasai Reddy commented on the fire in Vijayawada at 10:30, when the incident happened at 5:30. By this time everyone had already responded to the tragedy. This is not how a responsible MP should have reacted to the incident, he should have been the first to do, but wasn’t. This shows how really invested in the welfare of the people of Andhra Pradesh.
నాయుడు బాబూ, నాకు కులం లేదని మీరు పదేపదే చెప్పాల్సిన పరిస్థితి వచ్చిందంటే ఇంతకన్నా దురదృష్టం ఉంటుందా?
