Unlike sticking to the lead roles, Vijay Sethupathi is making sure that he makes his mark in acting, picking up some interesting roles. The actor who recently made his Telugu debut through a small character in Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy has now got ready with a lead film.
“Sanga Tamilan”, a Kollywood movie that has Vijay as the lead has now got dubbed into Telugu. Titled “Vijay Sethupathi”, the film is scheduled for a grand release tomorrow across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
The film has been sold for Rs. 1.2 Crore in both the Telugu states. For a newbie like Vijay, the amount is said to be huge. Adding to it, the film could get 40 screens in Hyderabad itself and a total of 100 screens in Nizam. If at all the movie secures a positive talk, then no doubt, Vijay will have a long way to go in Telugu.

Director Vijay Chander said that he had originally written the story for Pawan Kalyan, which further added to the mileage of the film in Telugu. Rashee Khanna and Nivetha Pethuraj are playing the female leads in “Vijay Sethupathi”.
