For the past few weeks, there have been speculations that Kollywood star Vijay Sethupathi is playing the antagonist in Allu Arjun’s upcoming film ‘Pushpa: The Rule’, which is directed by Sukumar. However, these speculations turned out to be incorrect after Sethupathi’s publicist gave an update on the upcoming movies of the Master actor.
Amid rumours about the Tamil actor’s movie lineup, his publicist Yuvraaj tweeted, “This is to clarify that #VijaySethupathi sir is doing a negative role only in #ShahRukhKhan sir’s Jawan at this point and that he is not playing a negative role in any other Telugu projects as is being speculated. @VijaySethuOffl”
For the unversed, Vijay Sethupathi was supposed to be the part of Pushpa’s first part. But the actor walked out of the project due to his busy schedule. In this context, it was heard that Sukumar planned to rope the 96 actor in the highly awaited second part.
Pushpa: The Rule is expected to start rolling from next month. The movie has Rashmika Mandanna playing the female lead while Fahadh Faasil will be Bunny’s antagonist.
