Vijay Devarakonda, the young sensation of Tollywood, today distributed Health and ID Cards to journalists at Prasad Labs, Hyderabad under the direction of the Telugu Film Journalists Association (TFJA). Along with the Rowdy actor, R. Narayanamurthy, Sreenivas Reddy, Srinivas Reddy, and renowned producer Dil Raju, among others, attended the event.
Mr. Surendra Kumar Naidu, the treasurer of TFJA, explained the efforts behind raising the insurance fund, extending heartfelt gratitude to the entire film fraternity for their tireless support in turning this vision into reality. He also stressed TFJA’s dedication to help the journalists in accessing health cards and insurance, affirming them of round-the-clock availability during emergencies. Virahat Ali, General Secretary of the Telangana State Union of Working Journalists (TUWJ), extended commendations to the Film Journalists Association for their assertive stance, admitting the pivotal role of movie news and content in media circulation.
Srinivas Reddy, Chairman of the Telangana Media Academy, expressed confidence under the leadership of Revanth Reddy, emphasising possible resolutions to accreditation card issues and the condition of housing plots for eligible journalists. They also launched a diary indicating a new chapter in journalist welfare, with producer Dil Raju obtaining the first copy.
