Youth icon Vijay Deverakonda is highly amped up for his forthcoming film, for which he has teamed up with film maker Karan Johar. This will be Vijay’s first pan India venture, which has a working title Fighter.
Karan, who is yet to team up with Vijay no sooner, shared best wishes to the actor on his birthday. Karan took to Twitter to share an image of himself alongside Vijay, expressing that he has been waiting desperately to see the film hitting the theatres.

In an endearing response to it, Vijay wrote, “Karannn 🙂 I can’t wait for India to see what we are making and to celebrate it. And thank you for being you – warm, funny and wholeheartedly supportive. I feel a responsibility to give you a massively memorable film. And I will.”
Ananya Panday will make her debut in the Telugu film industry with this film in a less role. Earlier, in an interview, Vijay had stated that he would dub his own lines for the Hindi version. The film is planned to be dubbed in other south Indian languages as well.
Karan johar who is bankrolling the project seem to have better known Puri for films such as Mahesh Babu-starrer Pokkiri and Amitabh Bachchan’s Buddah Hoga Terra Baap and chosen him for this massive project, which connotes the first collaboration between Vijay and director Puri Jagannadh.
