Vijay Deverakonda’s latest film, “Family Star,” which stars Mrunal Thakur and is produced by Dil Raju, will be released on April 5th. Despite the good reception of the trailer, the team is strongly promoting the film, including a pre-release event.
During a recent talk, Vijay addressed his previous statement about aiming for a 200 crore gross with “Liger,” admitting that not meeting that target was a mistake.
He is committed to achieve that milestone at some point, and he accepts criticism in the meantime. Surprisingly, he refrained from expecting similar popularity for “Family Star,” possibly waiting for its success before making lavish promises.
To win the race, Family Star must receive full backing. Given the extended summer, it might earn Vijay another 100 crores if it does that.
