In a tragic incident, a speeding car ran a red light and rammed into cars in a crowded junction on Thursday. The fiery crash took the life of at least six people, including a baby, just outside of Los Angeles.
As per reports, nine more were injured in the crash which involved multiple vehicles in the metro area. Among the dead, there was a 3-year-old baby, who was also killed in the accident.
Three adults and six minors were taken to area hospitals after the crash, Highway Patrol spokesman Franco Pepi said.
Sharing a video of the accident, the department confirmed that five people died, and nine were hurt. The death toll later rose to six, after the officials said another body was found in one of the cars that had been on fire. The investigation into the crash is currently going on.
