Popular film comedian Kadali Jaya Sarathi passed away this morning. He was 83 years old.
As per reports, Sarathi breathed his last at 2:30 am today after being treated at Citi neuro centre hospital for the past one month with kidney problems. The last rites will be held today at 1 pm in Maha Prasthanam.
Sarathi made his silver screen debut in 1960 with Sitarama Kalyanam. He acted as Nalakubaru in that film. He played comedy roles in many movies and got the appreciation of the audience. He acted in about 372 Telugu movies. He was active in moving the Telugu film industry from Madras to Hyderabad.
