Popular actor Venu Thottempudi, who entertained the audience with his performance as a hero and comedian, has been away from films for some time.
Now, the 45-year-old actor is making his acting comeback with Ravi Teja’s upcoming film ‘Ramarao On Duty’. Directed by debutant Sarath Mandava, the film stars Rajisha Vijayan and Divyasha Kaushik in female lead roles.
The makers of the film today announced that Venu Thottempudi has been roped in to play a pivotal role in Ramarao On Duty. As per reports, the ace actor will be seen in a typical full length character, which is going to be a strong addition to the film.
Venu, who made his Tollywood debut with the 1999 film Swayamvaram, was last seen in the comedy caper Ramachari in 2013.
Ramarao On Duty marks Ravi Teja’s 68th film. The team began shooting for the project in Hyderabad. The film is produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri under the banner of SLV Cinemas LLP and RT teamworks.
