We have already reported that Victory Venkatesh is all set to remake Dhanush’s starrer Asuran in Telugu. The film is a story against caste and is receiving rave reviews for its theme.
The Telugu remake will be produced by Suresh Babu and Kalaipuli S Thanu, Producer of Asuran, under Suresh Productions and V Creations respectively.
As per our latest reports, Venkatesh is keen on two directors – VV Vinayak and Krish. But, we heard that Venky is making plans to rope in either one of them for Asuran remake. As of now, nothing has been confirmed.
Well, let us wait and see who will grab the wonderful offer to direct Venky. The pre-production works are currently on for the film. Our reliable sources have also confirmed that elegant actress Shriya Saran has signed on to play Venkatesh’s wife in the remake.
Venkatesh, meanwhile, awaits the release of Venky Mama which also stars his nephew Naga Chaitanya. Bankrolled jointly by Suresh Productions, the film is being directed by KS Ravindra.
Anup Rubens has composed music for Venky Mama and Raashi Khanna & Payal Rajput play the female leads in this flick. Venkatesh also has a project with Tharun Bhascker, which will start filming soon.
