Visakhapatnam South MLA Vasupalli Ganesh is one of the four TDP members who defected from the TDP to the YSRCP, having joined the YSRCP along with his two sons, in September 202. It is now being said that he might be back in the TDP very soon. On Saturday, he sent his resignation letter to the YSRCP in charge of the Visakhapatnam South Assembly constituency.
The main reason for Ganesh’s decision is being stated as the mistreatment he’s been receiving from the YSRCP, where he is not being valued despite his experience and contributions to the political field. Recently, he was reportedly asked to mobilize a crowd for the visit of Y V Subba Reddy and V Vijayasai Reddy, which is said to have hurt his sentiments, as he is said to have considered this an insult to his leadership.
Vallabhaneni Vamsi Mohan from Gannavaram in Krishna district, Karanam Balaramakrishna Murthy from Chirala in Bapatla district, and Maddhali Giridhar from Guntur west are the others who defected to the YSRCP, apart from Vasupalli Ganesh. Even they are said to be facing several problems in the YSRCP, especially from other members of the party. As a result, it is being said that it wouldn’t be long before even these three decide to either go back to the TDP or quit politics on the whole.
