Varun Tej is gearing up for the third schedule of his upcoming film “Matka” directed by Karuna Kumar. He needs to grow back his hair and beard for the role, as the shoot was interrupted by the release plans of “Operation Valentine.”
In “Matka,” Varun will portray a character across three different ages – 20, 30, and 50, set in a vintage backdrop. To portray the 50 year old version authentically, he plans to grow a real belly without prosthetics, which requires a significant schedule gap for body transformation through eating loads of food.
