Mega Prince Varun Tej is celebrating his birthday today and an announcement of his 15th film, #VT15 has been made marking this occasion. Directed by Merlapaka Gandhi and produced by UV Creations and First Frame Entertainment, the film is said to be a thrilling and humorous adventure.
The announcement poster, with its Korean elements and a jar with fire dragon logo, hints at a unique Indo-Korean horror comedy. The tagline “When haunting turns hilarious!” suggests an entertaining storyline.
Merlapaka Gandhi has crafted a script that blends thrills and humor, featuring Varun Tej in a fresh role. This film marks Varun Tej’s first collaboration with Gandhi and UV Creations, though he has previously worked with First Frame Entertainment on Kanche. Merlapaka Gandhi has collaborated with UV creations previously for blockbuster ‘Express Raja’.
The film will also see a reunion of Varun with music director S. Thaman, following their success with Tholi Prema. Production is set to begin in March.
