“Vaanara,” the debut film of Avinash Thiruveedhula as both hero and director, is getting ready to make a strong mark with its mythological rural drama. The teaser of the film was launched by Rocking Star Manchu Manoj, who appreciated Avinash’s hard work, dedication, and the unique concept behind the movie. The film features Simran Choudhary as the female lead and Nandu in a key negative role.
Manchu Manoj said he was impressed with Avinash’s ability to handle both acting and direction in his very first movie. He added that in today’s times, content is what decides success, not the scale or budget. Manoj also shared that Avinash has fulfilled his father Hanumantha Rao’s dream of becoming a hero, and the emotionally strong scenes involving actor Shivaji Raja moved him deeply. He also revealed that his long-delayed project “Aham Brahmasmi” with Sai Madhav Burra will soon be revived.
Creative Director Janakiram thanked Manoj for launching the teaser and said the team worked with complete dedication to present a fresh mythological rural drama. Actor Harsha shared that Avinash spent nearly two and a half years shaping the film, and the team is proud to be part of his journey.
Editor Chota K. Prasad said he was initially unsure about the project but was surprised by Avinash’s passion, which made him respect the young filmmaker even more. Writer Viswajith explained that the story began with a bold idea—imagining what would happen if Hanuman had complete freedom during the Lanka episode. That thought evolved into the intense narrative of “Vaanara.”
Actor Shivaji Raja appreciated Manoj’s support and wished the team big success. He said Avinash is extremely talented and hoped this film would bring him the recognition he deserves. Presenter Shantanu Pathi, who has known Avinash since school, shared how the project grew from a small idea into a large-scale film, thanks to strong support from top technicians.
Dialogue writer Sai Madhav Burra praised the young team’s energy, saying their passion inspired even senior artists. Cinematographer Sujatha Siddharth added that Avinash gave complete creative freedom and even reshot scenes whenever needed to achieve perfection.
Avinash Thiruveedhula expressed his gratitude to Manchu Manoj for supporting them and said this film was his father’s long-cherished dream. He thanked his team for standing by him for two and a half years and shared that Vivek Sagar’s music and Chota Prasad’s guidance played a key role in shaping the film. He also revealed that Vishwak Sen lent his voice for the film and Kiran Abbavaram encouraged him after watching the content.
Describing the story, Avinash said “Vaanara” follows a determined hero whose beloved bike is taken away by a Ravana-like villain, pushing him into an emotional and thrilling journey. He promised that the film would surprise audiences with its scale, visuals, and storytelling.
