The USA Green Card is one of the most cherished prospects for the Indian community in the USA. Almost everyone who enters the USA has the tendency to apply for a green card.
However, the latest update from Cato Institute revealed that as many as 4 lakh Indians who have applied for the green card might die before actually getting the card.
As of now, there are over 11 lakh applicants for the green card who hail from the Indian community.
If the statistics are to go by, compiled based on the quota data of the US employment department, over 4 lakh Indian applicants might die before getting a green card.
It would take over 134 years for all the current applicants to get the green card and this is practically impossible.
