Going into details, for the past few days, the Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi has been meeting Bollywood celebs and also spending quality time, the photographs from their parties have been doing rounds on the social media.
Bollywood stars Shah Rukh Khan, Ekta Kapoor, Aamir Khan, Sonam Kapoor, Kangana Ranaut and others were spotted under one roof and they have shared their recent photographs with Modi have gone viral. But, no actor from the South Indian film industry was present at the event.
Keeping this in mind, Upasana took to her social media account and wrote, “Dearest @narendramodi ji. We in the South of INDIA admire you and are Proud to have you as our Prime Minister.
With all the due respect we felt that the representation of Leading personalities and cultural icons was limited only to Hindi Artists and the South Film Industry was completely neglected. I express my feeling with pain and hope it’s taken in the right spirit.”
However, ace producer Dil Raju is the only Telugu celebrity, who was seen at the event. And as soon as Upasana posted this on social media, many fans commented and supported Upasana for raising her point and voice against it.
