Upasana Kamineni Konidela, Vice Chairperson of Apollo Hospitals CSR and a well-known wellness advocate, has completed the holy Sai Baba Vrat. This spiritual observance is done for nine weeks on consecutive Thursdays. She started the vrat on Guru Purnima (July 10) and completed it on September 4, 2025. The vrat is followed by devotees as a symbol of devotion, discipline, and healing.
Sharing her experience, Upasana said that the nine weeks gave her peace and inner strength. She expressed gratitude, saying that Sai Baba blessed her with more than she expected and she will always remain thankful.
To celebrate the completion of the vrat, a seva initiative was taken up through Athamma’s Kitchen. Special Sai Baba Vrat Kits were offered to devotees. For every kit sold, nine meals were promised to be served to people in need.
The response was encouraging as 105 kits were sold. On the final day of the vrat, 945 meals were cooked and distributed. The food included traditional Pongal and Kesari, prepared with devotion and served to the needy.
This seva stands as a true act of gratitude, combining faith, service, and community spirit. It also reflects Sai Baba’s timeless message of “Shraddha aur Saburi” — faith and patience.
