FUJIFILM India, in collaboration with Apollo Telemedicine Networking Foundation, has launched the CSR campaign ‘Find It Early, Fight It Early’ to raise breast cancer awareness across 23 cities in India.
Supported by Ms. Upasana Kamineni Konidela, Vice Chairperson of CSR, Apollo Hospitals Foundation, this initiative focuses on educating women about the importance of early detection to combat stigma and lack of awareness, especially in underserved areas.
The campaign aims to reach over 1 lakh women through community engagement, health risk assessments, and sensitization programs conducted by trained educators.
Breast cancer remains one of India’s most common cancers among women, yet late detection is widespread due to societal barriers and insufficient information.
Ms. Upasana emphasized the need for awareness, education, and access to encourage timely action, while Mr. Koji Wada, Managing Director of FUJIFILM India, highlighted the company’s commitment to advancing healthcare through early diagnosis.
This initiative reflects FUJIFILM’s broader goal of improving health equity under its Sustainable Value 2030 Plan.
