During the second wave of Covid-19, several celebrities and politicians have tested positive for the coronavirus, despite taking all the safety measures.
Now, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has tested positive for Covid-19. As he exhibited initial symptoms, Yogi took a test and found positive for the virus.
Taking to Twitter, the CM of UP wrote, “On getting the initial symptoms, I got myself checked for Covid-19 and my report has come positive. I am in self-isolation and following doctors’ advice. I’ll carry out my constitutional responsibilities via online mode.”
Yogi Adityanath also added that all those who have come in contact with him must get themselves checked for Covid-19. Notably, the CM had received the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine earlier this month.
Besides Yogi, Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav and UP minister Ashutosh Tandon have also tested positive for coronavirus.
