Unni Mukundan is familiar to the Telugu audience for playing the antagonist in Jr NTR and Mohanlal starrer Janatha Garage, which was released in 2016. He also played a key role in Anushka Shetty’s Bhaagamathie.
Now according to the latest update, Unni Mukundan has been roped in an upcoming pan India film Yashoda, which stars Samantha Ruth Prabhu in the lead role. The film marks the Rangasthalam actress’s second-time collaboration with the most happening Malayalam actor after Janatha Garage.
Director duo Hari and Harish began the current schedule at a brisk pace in Hyderabad. Samantha will play an author-backed role ‘Yashodha’ in Sivalenka Krishna Prasad’s production under the prestigious Sridevi Movies banner. Besides this film, Unni Mukundan is also playing a pivotal role in the upcoming Telugu action-drama Khiladi, which has Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja in the lead role.
