A 23-year-old girl who was raped in Unnao has breathed her last on Friday night. The accused who raped the girl in the past had burnt her alive on Thursday. She suffered from 90 percent burns and finally succumbed to injuries at a private hospital in Delhi after battling for life for about 40 hours.
Shivam Trivedi and Shubham, the two rape accused allegedly raped the victim last year December. While the girl was on her way to a local court to testify against the duo, they burnt her alive with kerosene.

The victim was then rushed to Lucknow’s Civil Hospital and was later shifted to Safdarjung hospital in Delhi for a better treatment. It was in the same hospital, the girl breathed her last.
While the entire nation is celebrating the encounter of all the four culprits involved in Disha’s rape and murder, Unnao incident has now become another trending issue. Several netizens are demanding to hang the accused with no delay anymore.
