The Union Home Ministry has reacted to the ongoing attacks on BJP offices and workers after the Assembly election results were announced in West Bengal.

It ordered the authorities to immediately submit a report on the ongoing attacks on opposition party activists in Bengal.

Some thugs set fire to the BJP office in Arambagh as soon as the election results came out. However, the BJP alleged that the Trinamool gangsters were behind this.

Governor Dhankar responded to the ongoing violence in the state. He was of the opinion that the situation was deteriorating in Bengal.

Governor Dhankar summoned several officials, including the DGP, to the Raj Bhavan to discuss the ongoing violence in the state. He ordered the officials to curb the violence.
