The deadly war between Russia and Ukraine has entered the third week and both sides have been witnessing several casualties, including soldiers and citizens. While Russia expected that the war would be ended shortly, the Ukrainian armed forces have been showing no discouragement, and it appears as they will fight till their last blood.
In yet another major blow to Russia, the Ukrainian forces have eliminated Russian Tank Commander Andrei Zakharov in the Brovary area of the Kyiv region on March 10.
As per reports, Zakharov becomes the third top Russian military commander to be killed in this war. Earlier, Russian Major General Vitaly Gerasimov and Major General Andrei Sukhovetskiy were killed in the battle. It is worth mentioning that in 2016, Zakharov was awarded the Order of Courage by President Vladimir Putin.
On the other side, the Ukrainian military claimed that they have taken down 56 planes and 82 helicopters belonging to Russia since the beginning of the war.
