In the current political scenario in AP, no two groups or cadres are willing to change their bases according to their leaders. They are behaving like the devotion to a party is eternal and there is no way that they can shift their bases according to their leaders.
It is the cadre who fights on behalf of their leaders from the narrowest streets to the fully protected polling booths. These days, be it the leader or the high command, they have to act according to the cadre’s wishes or else they have to face unwanted and unexpected problems. This has been the situation in Jamamalamadugu for the ruling YSRCP.
TDP key leader Ramasubbareddy has joined YCP in Jammalamadugu constituency. He has been involved in the party for almost six months. However, the current Jammalamadugu MLA Sudheer Reddy is not at all getting alone with Ramasubbareddy. Ramasubbareddy hasn’t been invited to any party meetings so far. The locals say that it is all due to the YSRCP cadre that opposes RamaSubbaReddy to be their man after such rivalry took place during the polls.
Jammalamadugu has a grand history of violence. Even in the 21st century, last year before the polls, both TDP cadre and YSRCP cadre did fight physically, injured, and were arrested. Reportedly, there was a death that happened at the peak period of the pre-poll times. This created stubbornness in the YSRCP cadre who are not at all willing to accept Rama Suba Reddy as one of their men. So, they are pressurizing Sudheer Reddy to isolate Rama Subba Reddy as long as he can.
Ramasubbareddy, on the other hand, also seems to be dissatisfied with Sudhir Reddy’s treatment. Ramasubbareddy is impatient that he has not come forward to integrate no matter how much he has descended. Although Ramasubbareddy’s supremacy has already brought this matter to high command’s notice, they ignored it as they have no other option or way to react on it. With this, the Ramasubbareddy community seems to be on fire.
