Two cricketers from Team India, who are currently in England for the ongoing tour, have tested positive for Coronavirus.
As per reports, two of the 23 members team have contracted the virus during the 20-day break and will not be going with the team to Durham on Thursday.
Even though the names of the players have not been revealed till now, it is heard that one is isolating and will join the team later after testing negative, while the other has already recovered and tested negative.
Reports reveal that one of the players experienced a sore throat and when he took the Covid test he returned positive. The teammates and support staff who contacted him were also kept in quarantine for three days.
Last week, before the start of the limited-overs series, England Cricket Board had announced that seven members including three players and four staffers had tested positive.
