After a humiliating defeat in the assembly elections of Telangana, it seems, TDP has lost its hopes on TS. Chief Minister KCR has warned all Andhra parties to stay away from the elections in TS. So Telugu Desam did not contest in Telangana Lok Sabha elections. But the TDP activists in Telangana are forcing the party chief Chandrababu Naidu, to concentrate on strengthening it in the state.
So Naidu has decided to contest in Huzurnagar by-election, even though, it is well known that TDP has no chance to win. When Naidu took such decision against KCR, now everyone is confused about why he has not announced his support to the ongoing TSRTC strike.
Every opposition party like Congress, BJP and even Janasena, that has no base in TS, came forward and announced their support to the RTC employees. But Naidu’s silence is now worrying the TS-TDP activists.

Unlike BJP or Congress, which are national parties, Telugu Desam has bigger chances to bounce back, if the party really concentrates on strengthening its political activities in Telangana.
As Naidu is identified for developing the IT hub in Hyderabad and several such issues, there are good chances for him to make it big soon. But if he ignores concentrating on the big issues like TSRTC strike, TDP may soon have to join the list of the forgotten parties of Telangana.
While the friendship of AP CM Jagan with KCR, is stopping the YSRCP leaders from assuring support to the TSRTC, the intention behind Naidu’s silence is confusing the political circles.
