The Donald Trump administration in the United States has been regularly delivering setbacks to the Indian community. Something on this effect is now being propagated again, and this has something to do with the imposition of new taxation on the Indian population there.
Donald Trump is reportedly, contemplating the idea of embracing 5% attacks on outbound transactions from the United States.
This essentially converts to ₹500 tax on every ₹10,000 that are sent from the United States to Indian bank accounts. This is the bill that has been proposed by the Republican party in the legislative council, and this could potentially come to effect from July 4.
The bill is yet to be passed, so there is a bit of scepticism associated with the same, but considering the majority of the Trump administration in the legislation, the chances are that the bill could be approved.
