True Lover, featuring Tamil actor Manikandan and Telugu actress Gouri Priya Reddy hit the theaters on the occasion of Valentine’s Day this year. The film couldn’t make much noise in terms of box office returns but it could surely attract the younger generation of the audience.
Coming to the OTT release aspect of the film, it has sealed Simply South as its digital streaming partner and is headed for its OTT debut very soon.
According to the latest reports, the film will be made available for streaming on Simply South from the 27th of this month. An official communication to this effect was made today.
Generally, rom-coms tend to fare well on OTT as they cater to the target audience here. This could work in favor of True Lover now once it makes it OTT debut. More promotional material will be out soon as the OTT release date approaches.
