The TRS seems to be highly worried about the Bharatiya Janata Party’s aggressive strategies in recent times. BJP Telangana President Bandi Sanjay has taken up a statewide Padayatra, with many national leaders chiming in every now and then. In the following month, three union ministers are set to be a part of the yatra, including Union Home Minister Amit Shah, who is expected to address the public even.
With the BJP also pushing hard on anti-incumbent sentiments in the people, the TRS is said to be very worried. The BJP established itself very well and as the major opponent to the TRS in the state in the GHMC elections. This rattled the TRS so much so that Chief Minister KCR and the entire TRS turned against the BJP, including the central government, with KCR calling PM Narendra Modi several names at various public events.
KCR even very famously tried to form a third front in national politics against the BJP and Congress, during which he made the most blasphemous statements. However, he went silent after his plans fell through and hasn’t made any controversial statements about the BJP since. It is now to be seen how the TRS would counter the BJP’s efforts in the state, and what the ultimate outcome would be.
