In a shocking incident, a student named Praneeth who hails from Meerpet, Hyderabad drowned to death in a fatal incident in Canada.
According to Father A Ravi, Praneeth went swimming with his friends and brother on Sunday morning but didn’t return to lake bed. The local police were informed, and father said rescue teams took more than 10 hours to reach the lake. The body was retrieved in the evening.
The news reached Praneeth’s family on Monday through a friend of the victim’s brother . The family is in contact with Praneeth’s friends in Canada, who are coordinating with local authorities. The grieving family has appealed to the government for assistance in bringing Praneeth’s body back to India.
Praneeth went to Canada in 2019 to pursue higher studies and he had been supporting his family financially. Now his tragic passing comes as a rude shock.
