After a two week run, “Kalki 2898 AD” continues to attract audiences even as ticket prices return to normal. On July 12, “Indian 2” will release with significant promotions by Shankar, Kamal Haasan, Siddharth, and Rakul star cast.
The movie, which focuses on societal issues rather than being a typical commercial film, is expected to gain traction after initial reviews come out. The following week, on July 19, “Darling,” starring Priyadarshi and Nabha Natesh, will be released.
The film, centered around a couple with contrasting personalities, has generated positive buzz with its trailer. Since “Indian 2” is a dubbed film, “Darling” is the only major Telugu release after “Kalki 2898 AD” and could achieve breakeven if well-received.
With no notable releases at the end of July, “Darling” could benefit from more theater availability, especially as “Kalki 2898 AD” winds down. If “Darling” garners positive feedback, it has the potential for a successful run.
